Cookie Policy
Explains which cookies are used on our website and platform, which are not, and how you can manage cookies.
In short
The provscope.com website does not set cookies for ordinary visitors. No analytics, advertising or tracking tools are currently active on the site. Strictly necessary technical cookies are used only for administrators who log in to the website’s admin area and for users who sign in to the app.provscope.com platform.
This policy is published by Provscope Yazılım Ltd. Şti. (Provscope Software Ltd.). You can find out how your personal data is processed in general in our privacy policy and our personal data protection notice.
What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They can be used to provide basic functions such as keeping you signed in, to remember your preferences or to measure how a site is used. Similar browser technologies such as local storage and session storage are covered together with cookies in this policy.
Cookie categories
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for a service to work as you have requested, for example to keep your session signed in and secure after you log in. Without them, areas that require login do not work. Consent is not required for strictly necessary cookies.
Analytics cookies
These measure, in aggregate, how the site is used and which pages are visited. Such cookies may only be used with your prior consent.
Preference cookies
These remember choices such as your language for your next visit.
Which cookies do we use today?
- Ordinary website visitors: no cookies are used. Our fonts are hosted on our own server; viewing our pages does not send requests to third-party servers.
- Administrators logged in to the website’s admin area: only strictly necessary technical cookies required for the session and security are used.
- Platform users (app.provscope.com): strictly necessary cookies or browser session storage are used for authentication and session security.
- Analytics cookies: not used at present.
- Preference cookies: not used at present.
- Advertising and targeting cookies: not used.
Analytics and possible future changes
A Google Analytics 4 integration technically exists on our website but is disabled. If analytics is enabled in the future, analytics cookies will only run after you have given prior consent, you will be able to withdraw your consent at any time, and this policy will be updated to show the tools and cookies used.
How can you manage cookies?
You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block only third-party cookies or receive a warning when a cookie is set. The location of these settings varies by browser; they are usually found in the “Privacy” or “Privacy and security” section of the “Settings” menu.
If you block strictly necessary cookies, you can still use the public pages of the website, but you may not be able to log in to the admin area or to the Provscope platform.
